Community Preservation Services maintains and improves the quality of life in neighborhoods through constituent outreach, responsiveness to community concerns, and the fair enforcement of the Beverly Hills Municipal Code. Officers respond to compliance issues related to property maintenance, nuisances, building and zoning violations, animal control, and other laws and regulations.  Whenever possible, Officers are expected to use a strategy that focuses on building ties and working closely with members of the community.  The goal is to obtain voluntary compliance from citizens.  Education of the public regarding applicable laws is required and is our most effective tool in obtaining a permanent solution.
